If all articles are not provided at initial submission it will be considered incomplete and will NOT be processed until all articles are received.

WHO SHOULD APPLY FOR A PASSPORT EXTENSION?
Afghan citizens obtaining extension to existing Afghan passports.

1) Passport extension application form

2) One passport-sized photo

3) Your original passport

NOTE: That extension will be effective from the dates issued and not from the expired date.

4) Provide a copy of:
  • Green Card (Front and Back) or If you are a US Citizen a copy of your US Passport
  • Driver's License or Identification Card.(Front and Back)
  • Social Security Card (Front and Back)
Passport extension fee:

• $21 for 1 year
• $41 for 2 years
• $61 for 3 years
• $81 for 4 years
• $101 for 5 years
Penalty Fee for Expired Passports:

• $10 0M to 6M
• $15 9M to 11M
• $20 12M
• 13M plus need to apply for new passport
