Requirements for Power of Attorney
(Wekalat Nama):
If all articles are not provided at initial submission it will be considered incomplete and will
NOT be processed until all articles are received.
WHO SHOULD APPLY FOR A POWER OF ATTORNEY?
Afghan Citizens that have ownership of assets in Afghanistan and are seeking to sell or grant guardianship over assets.
1) Power of Attorney (Wekalat Nama) Application

2) A legal document that a state who is the property owner (Kawala-e-Shari), if the property is inherited a Hasr-e-Warsat is needed. Kawal-e-Aurfi is not accepted.
3) All Owners of the property 18 years of age and older must be present at the time of application submission and fingerprinting, including witnesses for each property holder.
4) Wekalat Nama fee:
(All fees must be paid with MONEY ORDER)
NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED
