Requirements for a New Passport:

If all articles are not provided at initial submission it will be considered incomplete and will NOT be processed until all articles are received.

WHO SHOULD APPLY FOR A NEW PASSPORT?
Afghans citizens obtaining passports for traveling or identification purposes.

1) New passport application form

2) Two passport-sized photos

3) Provide these documents:
  • A copy of Green Card (Front and Back) or If you are a US Citizen a copy of your US Passport
  • A copy of Driver's License or Identification Card.(Front and Back)
  • Original Afghan Passport to indicate Afghan Nationality. If this Identification is not available, provide affidavits of two Afghans whom hold Afghan Passports to bear witnesses of your naturalization status. Also obtain a copy of their AFGHAN Passport.
4) Passport application fee:
  • $24 for 1 year
  • $44 for 2 years
  • $64 for 3 years
  • $84 for 4 years
  • $104 for 5 years
(All fees must be paid with MONEY ORDER)

NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED

NOTE: Applications sent by mail must include a prepaid, self-addressed return envelope. You may use Certified or Registered U.S. mail, or a Federal Express or UPS shipping envelope.
